The spooktacularly popular Addams family are back in a new series – and this time the focus is on Wednesday, the gloriously gloomy daughter of Morticia and Gomez.
Directed by Tim Burton of Beetlejuice fame, the Netflix series follows her as she heads off to Nevermore Academy, a boarding school for teenagers that is home to werewolves, vampires and sea sirens – and is also the location of a murder mystery involving her parents.
One thing that is different about Wednesday is that the star of the show, 20-year-old Jenna Ortega, is the first person to play her as a teen rather than a young girl.
