The pace of modern-day life is such that it is practically impossible to remember to catch each episode of Lost or The Mighty Boosh as it is first broadcast. Far easier to buy or rent the box set and watch at your own leisure... Far handier still to pick up Jo Berry's authoritative guide to essential TV viewing available on DVD, and let her sort the wheat from the chaff, the cult from the crud.
Armed with an unrivalled amount of TV detail and trivia, as well as incisive and entertaining expert opinion, Jo Berry reviews over 700 of the best, worst and totally forgotten TV series now on DVD. From childhood classics Mary Mungo And Midge and The Secret Garden to enjoyable kitsch such as The Rockford Files, classic costume dramas such as Brideshead Revisited to the drama of The Sopranos, there's something here for the TV addict in every home.
