Prepare to be gripped by a new reality show that pits 22 strangers against one another in a Cluedo-style mystery game of detection, trust and back-stabbing.
Claudia Winkleman shows her scheming side as the host of The Traitors, in which the contestants
complete challenges at a castle in the Scottish Highlands to add money to a possible £120,000
prize pot. That may sound simple, but there’s a twist – hidden among the players are The Traitors, whose job it is to murder a player every night (eliminating them from the game) without getting caught.
The others – known as The Faithfuls – have to figure out who the traitors are, and confront them at tense round table meetings where each person they decide is treacherous is then banished from the game. Whoever survives to the end has the chance of winning the prize money – but if a Traitor remains at the finale, that person steals the cash.
